CHIRLA offers a full suite of legal support services, handling immigration matters such as DACA renewals, naturalization, family‑based visas, green cards, consular processing, asylum applications, U‑visas, VAWA petitions, and removal defense. 

The agency provides labor rights assistance, helping clients file wage-theft and discrimination claims. 

Student-focused legal clinics are available on community college and CSU campuses. Consultations are offered via phone and in-person on set days, and a multilingual immigrant assistance hotline is maintained.
